Earth and herbs with chocolate and raspberry notes with a bit of berry.Licorice, cola, cherry, strawberry, and oak on the palate. Do I detect a bit of rhubarb? A nice acidic zing, but nicely balanced all around immediately after opening and after letting it open for a while.
The finish brings out some raspberry.
Not a bad bottle at all. If you can find it for under $20 I’d say pick it up.
