We're fans of Bonny Doon and I figured I'd snag a bottle of this for nine bucks. This is a kitchen sink blend and thensome...get this – Sangiovese, Syrah, Carignane, Barbera, Zinfandel, Mourvedre, Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, Tannat, and Aglianco – wow! We're two varietals closer to the Wine Century Club so that's exciting enough.Pepper and raspberry on the nose.
Black pepper, plum, blackberry, and even a bit of nectarine.
Oak and pepper on the finish and has a surprising length.
Pretty impressive at the price – a solid bottle of wine with fairly wide distribution makes this a winner and easy to recommend.
