Dirt and blackberry on the nose.
Smooth – blueberry, cherry, oak, just a slightest bit of anise and tobacco, and mild (but certainly present) tannins.
Blueberry mostly on the finish though I'm getting a bit of cinammon.
Simple and inoffensive – great for burgers or pizza.

This was also my first attempt at a boxed wine. It has good aromas of dark fruits and oak with subdued tannins on the palate. Works good with food and as everyday wine. Could step up in quality, but it is a great frugal buy! Scored 84/100 WCWG.
Do you know where they are located? Their website gives no info. We're in N CA and had their Chard at a restaurant and loved it!
